Project Gemini

Information on project in development

Project Gemini was planned before Orion 1 lifted off on 2nd September 1999, Project Gemini is a two stage solid fuel rocket which is half the size then explorer but has over twice the power. There are 3 planned Gemini missions. The Gemini rocket may be postponed one week to allow more time to construct the rocket as good or better than explorer . The first stage has 8 fins to help stabilize it, the second stage has 4 but are very small and will not be seen from the viewing area. The first launch is planned for Saturday 18th of March but may be postponed until the 25th of March. More information will be posted shortly.
