Project Gemini

Information on project in development

Project Gemini was planned before Orion 1 lifted off on 2^nd September 1999, Project Gemini is a two stage solid fuel rocket which is half the size then explorer but has over twice the power. There are 3 planned Gemini missions. The Gemini rocket may be postponed one week to allow more time to construct the rocket as good or better than explorer . The first stage has 8 fins to help stabilize it, the second stage has 4 but are very small and will not be seen from the viewing area. The first launch is planned for Saturday 18^th of March but may be postponed until the 25^th of March. More information will be posted shortly.
